We offer a program of short courses in Statistical Epidemiology:
Level 1: No prequisite required (Target audience: people who work or plan to work on epidemiological research projects)
- Introduction in Epidemiology in vaccines and related statistical methods (1 day)
- Descriptive Epidemiology (2 hrs)
- Real World Evidence – A disruption in medical Research? (3 hrs)
- Basics in Causal Inference in Observational Studies (3 hrs)
Level 2: Good knowledge of basic principles in Epidemiology and Biostatistics is required (Target audience: Epidemiologists, Bio-statisticians, Physicians, Healthcare researchers, etc. with an experience in epidemiological research)
- Design and Analysis of Epidemiological studies,
- Cohort studies (4 hrs)
- Case-control studies (4 hrs)
- Self-Controlled studies (4 hrs)
- Ecological studies (4 hrs)
- Systematic literature review & meta-analysis (1 day)
- Propensity scoring methods (4 hrs)
- Sensivity and Specificity in Observational Studies (4hrs)
- Causal diagrams in observational studies (4hrs)
- Confounder, Effect Modifier, and Mediator … what is the difference? (4hrs)
These courses can be delivered remotely or face-to-face.
